PRIVACY POLICY

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect only what is needed to process an order: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, phone number if you provide one, and the contents of your order. We also record your confirmation of the Research Use Only access gate (age 21 or older, laboratory or analytical purchasing purpose) together with the date it was given. Payment card details are entered with our payment processor and are never stored on Cavren Research servers. If you email contact@cavrenresearch.com, we keep that message and our reply.

HOW WE USE IT
Order and contact information is used to accept and fulfil orders, arrange shipping, issue refunds or replacements, respond to support and documentation requests, keep the Research Use Only acceptance record required by our terms of sale, and meet accounting and legal obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We share the minimum necessary with the service providers that make an order possible: our payment processor (billing details and order amount), the shipping carrier used for your order (name, address and phone number for delivery), and our email provider (email address and order notifications). We also disclose information where required by law or by a valid legal request.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Order records, invoices and the associated Research Use Only acceptance record are kept for seven years to satisfy accounting and regulatory requirements. Support correspondence is kept for two years. Information you give us that never results in an order — an unsubmitted cart, for example — is not retained.

COOKIES AND SITE DATA
This site uses only functional browser storage: your Research Use Only gate confirmation and your cart contents are stored in your browser so you are not asked again during the same session. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage removes both.

SECURITY
The site is served over HTTPS, payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor, and access to order records is limited to Cavren Research staff who need it to fulfil or support an order.

YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it for accounting or regulatory reasons. Email contact@cavrenresearch.com from the address used on the order and we will respond within 30 days.
